UNBELIEVABLE! Former Man United Star Angrily Blast Legendary Manager Sir Alex Ferguson

Roy Keane has launched a blistering attack at his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson – and used events when his son Darren was in charge at Preston North End as ammunition.

The ex-Manchester United midfielder made reference to the club’s recall of key loan players Matty James, Josh King and Ritchie de Laet.

All three were on in the middle of spells at Deepdale, but were brought back to United the day after Darren Ferguson was sacked in December 2010.

And the seven-time Premier League winner Keane took aim at Sir Alex during a roadshow with Off the Ball in Ireland this week.

He said:

“People said [Ferguson] always had the best interests of Manchester United at heart. Darren Ferguson [his son] won a medal.

“He was very lucky.

“[Alex Ferguson’s] brother was the chief scout for Manchester United for a long time. I’m surprised his wife wasn’t involved in the staff somewhere.”

He added:

“Darren was [the manager] at Preston North End and lost his job.

“He had a couple of young players on loan from Manchester United, [but] guess what happens the next day?

“They’re pulled out of Preston. Is that doing the best for Manchester United?
